Verdict
Washington D.C Metro voice app
Intended as a resource for travelers, the Washington D.C Metro voice app by NateDev provides directions and live step by step directions to the end-user on how to get from the station they are at to their destination station. With this voice app, travelers can know more about the upcoming metro train arrivals, train times, and travel fare from one station to another. The users are also provided with real-time updates on the metro train and bus delays.
Though the central idea upon which the voice app is designed is worth commending, there seems to be a lot of misses in its intended service delivery. Upon reviewing the skill, it has been found that most areas need a certain quantum of refining to make it more user-friendly. The Washington D.C Metro voice app certainly fails to provide a great experience for the user. Another issue worth mentioning would be the abrupt ending of the skill, as a result of which the user has to figure out whether or not the skill has ended. The addition of a thank you note as and when the skill ends seems highly pertinent.
The VOGO Voice team scores this skill a 2.5 out of 5-stars based on our rating system. While it provides live alerts on Washington D.C Metro buses and trains, you’ll have to try for yourself to see how useful and timely the alerts are; and if it truly answers all of those critical questions you’ve got rolled up your sleeve while stepping out from your station to your intended destination.
