Skill Review: General Knowledge Trivia Game

General Knowledge Trivia game is a fun and challenging voice skill developed by Chris Smolen for quiz enthusiasts. It’s a competitive game that covers questions from various topics such as music, movies, geography, and so forth.

The questions are insightful, making way for a perfect educational brain break. The quiz taker is presented with 5 multiple choice questions to test and measure their general knowledge quotient. To give the answer, the player will have to say the number of the option and not the option itself. The rule of the quiz is simple– if you get all the questions right, you win. Every correct answer is worth 1 point. That being said, there are a few negatives that made to the list. Firstly, the instances of repetitive questions when opting for another round of the quiz, and the second one is the lack of a ‘welcome’ segment, which is considered a must-have for an interactive voice experience. Another setback is that the display functionality is quite basic in contrast to other quiz games; due to the bigger font size, the user often needs to scroll the screen up to view the options. Lastly, the skill crashes in between after accepting user responses.
